"Only elephants should wear ivory. STOP the demand. STOP the trade. STOP THE KILLING NOW before it is too late!"
World Elephant Day is an international annual event on August 12, dedicated to the preservation and protection of the world's elephants.
World Elephant Day has been created to bring the world together to help elephants. It is a day to honor elephants, to spread awareness about the critical threats they are facing, and to support positive solutions that will help ensure their survival.
The numbers of elephant are decreasing due to slaughter, poachers are using inhumane means, slash elephant's tusks, leaving them dying slow and painful death.
Tourists and Volunteers numbers who has been tireless supporting and save elephants have ceased entirely! This is due to the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19) travel restrictions and fear across the world at the moment; times are now very tough at the sanctuaries and parks as there are little operations to save the elephants and this is due to shortages of funds.
Your critical donations will enable the continuation efforts to end the poaching through community awareness, Aerial support (helicopters and the use of drones),Training rangers in the use of GPS and GIS for law enforcement, Ground Patrol, rescue babies (Calves) elephant and injured elephant.
The money raised will also go to rescue, support, maintain and feed the elephants is solely dependent on tourists, volunteers and general donations.
We have set a critical goal of Euros 50,000 so could you join us and chip in any amount to ensure we can feed and save these beautiful elephants during this unimaginable crisis? No dollar amount is too small.
