Help Us to Help Tim Baranowski

On Monday, November 26th, our son-in-law and brother-in-law Tim Baranowski was seriously injured in a fall while in the basement with his children, Jonathon and Trevor (ages 10 and 6). Tim’s wife, Ashley, was thankfully home to call 911 and hold him to prevent further cranial damage until help arrived. Tim had lost consciousness/had a seizure, and fell face first onto the cement floor, with his face taking the full force of the fall. Tim sustained serious head trauma including a brain bleed, swelling of the brain, concussion, multiple lacerations requiring stitches, a broken nose, several broken facial bones on both sides of his face, and significant damage to the lower portion of his face, mouth, and teeth, and was initially in the ICU. He will require oral surgery and months’ worth of dental work in addition to potential facial surgery of the cheek bones and jaw, as well as different therapies and treatments.

Tim is self-employed and the primary supporter of this precious family. He will be unable to work and/or drive for quite some time. The nature of his work requires use of his full body and all his physical strength, in addition to being on his feet all day, and he cannot return to work until his brain and facial injuries have healed. We are starting this page to help provide income replacement to sustain this family and their household during the months of Tim’s recovery, and hopefully to help defray some of the out of pocket medical costs not covered by insurance.

We thank everyone who has loved on this family, and jumped to their aid with prayers, meals, helping with the kids and dog, advice, and so much more.
