Help us to help cats

Hi my name is nicola and i am trying to raise money for little tinkers rescue helping cats/kittens living on the streets. Let me tell you alittle bit about myself and exactly what I do to help. Firstly i work full time for the nhs saving lives and helping people in need who are sick/unwell. In my spare time i am part of the admin team for a local rescue called little tinkers. Part of my Job with little tinkers is too go out trapping sick or injured cats or kittens living on the street. Here is just one example....... Tess was found at the enterprise centre on Accrington Rd blackburn all lone and starving.....Louise who runs little tinkers rescue managed to trap her and she as been with me ever since. Tess had her first vaccination and a vet check shortly after arriving with me she was little under weight but other than that was in good health or so it seemed, shortly after having her vaccination tess became poorly she stopped eating and drinking and was sneezing alot. I took her to the vet and she was admitted straight away for iv fluid and iv antibiotics under little tinkers rescue. Tess ended up spending 4 days is hospital at Bolton animal trust and returned home to me on Thursday 22nd august since then she as been eating drinking playing and as you can sleeping well. However little tinkers have a vet bill exceeding £1000 and really do need all the donation possible to cover this bill amongst others coming in on a daily basis. We ourself try and raise money for food litter and incoming vet bills.in oder to facilitate the cats /kittens in need that we find on the street homeless and abandoned through no fault if there own. They are then brought into out own homes and receive all the veterinary care needed through the rescue and receive all the love, care and warmth they deserve from there fosterers.

Little tinkers rescue are really struggling at the moment as like other rescues helping these poor kittens/cats living on the street which is full of danger and alot suffering with illness and injuries they are getting calls on a daily basis from the public telling them there are mummies and babies living on the street sleeping in either derelict building or in bushes as well as poorly cats and unfortunately they don't currently have the capacity to help......we.are imn deperate need for more fosterers.in the community. I myself currently have 7 foster cats at my home that are currently struggling to find their forever home for one reason or another. If we are able to raise enough money one of our plans would be to also to look at building a safe secure enclosure/ catio which will have a added insolated area where the cats can sleep in comfort and is adequate by the intake of mummys and babies and also poorly cats/kittens in my garden if given permission to do so....so well can help.more cats on the street so of who are in a sorry state through no fault of there own....please please people put you hand in your pocket and help little tinkers save these poor animals suffering on the streets even if it's only a £1 or £2 every little helps
