Hi, we are Finlay (17) and Oliver Goodman (15) and we are from south-east England. Triathlons have been our passion for many years, both starting from 8 years old. We both compete at national level for our age groups in the UK.

Last year Finlay took part in his first Xterra event, a duathlon at Matterley Basin. Then in the summer last year we were lucky to receive a wild card entry to Xterra world champs in Italy that were held at the end of September. At the beginning of May this year we raced the Xterra Weston park triathlon, with both of us winning our categories. This then gave us a spot to race at the Xterra World Champs in Italy at the end of September this year.

Last year at Xterra World Champs, we had an amazing experience racing in Italy against many other athletes from around the world. Oliver went on to have a very good race and secured a top 15 finish (15th) as one of the youngest in his category. Finlay also went on to have an amazing race, after tackling the challenging bike and run course, he took the title of Xterra youth B world champion 2024.

To fulfil this great opportunity to race again this year, help would be very much appreciated, any thing can make a difference. The money will be primarily put towards new bike parts for our bikes which are in almost unrideable conditions. Finlay has contacted numerous companies for assistance, but as of yet has had no luck.
