My name is Noah Foster, I am 23 years old, and I live in Athens Georgia. my girlfriend and I have 2 cats and a dog. Our oldest kitty “Meechi” has a history of bladder blockages. This week he has had his 3rd in the last few years. As everyone knows, emergency vet bills are extremely expensive. He is currently hospitalized and is in stable condition. However while we get by, I would say we’re a bit away from being well off. We currently owe the vets a total of 1500$, which will likely be more as he will be hospitalized a few more days. Likely totaling to something close to 3000. To put it bluntly, we do not have this. This is my first ever time attempting to crowd-fund anything. Many people say if it isn’t affordable, just put the cat down. Meechi is 5 years old and otherwise in perfect health. Putting him down would be killing him senselessly, not to mention the emotional attachment we have to this guy, as he was our first pet together that we came across in a hard time in life. I work full time, and my girlfriend Juliet is an apprentice tattoo artist. A deposit was paid out of pocket by yours truly, however that was my rent money, and with holidays just passing, and the new year coming this is an almost impossible financial feat for us to undertake. As a musician with admittedly more instruments than I may need, I am making an attempt to sell the only expensive guitar I’ve ever purchased myself on Facebook, with no luck yet lol. Any little bit would help put us on our way to keeping our cat alive and well, and keeping a roof overhead. Anything at all is extremely appreciated.
