Help send Lord of the Bricks to the First Lego League International Championships!
We are thrilled to announce that our dedicated team of young STEM enthusiasts have qualified to attend the First Lego League International Championship in South Korea! Lord of the Bricks is made up of 9 children – Aaliya, Anaisa, Arvin, Elliot, Esha, Flossie, Guhan, Sakthi and Toby - aged from 11 to14 and their robot ‘World Dominator’. They are an out-of-school team, coached by parents. They all attend different schools but are united in their love for all things STEM and share core values centred around teamwork, innovation, fun and resilience.
This incredible opportunity follows on from their success at the First Lego League Nationals in Harrogate in April 2026 where they won the Robot Knockouts and came second place in the Robot Games. They are the Kent regional champions for 2 years in a row (2025 and 2026). In addition, their innovation project aimed at solving a real world problem in archaeology resulted in the development of an AI assistant which is currently in action on the Kent Archaeology Society website to assist in answering queries from the public.
The International Championship tournament is taking place in Jeonbuk-do, South Korea on 3-5th July 2026. Competing at an International level will allow the team to showcase their hard work, creativity, and teamwork on a global stage. However, we need your help to make this dream a reality. Funds raised will go towards travel expenses, accommodation, and competition fees, ensuring that these bright minds can focus on what they do best—innovating and collaborating. Your support will not only help us reach this milestone but also inspire these kids to continue pursuing their passion for STEM and inspiring their peers. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference.
Thank you for helping us inspire the next generation of innovators!
