Help us to finish the "Casa Educativa Indigena”

The cooperative Agropecuaria de Servicios Tonanzintlalli R.L, an organization of indigenous Matagalpas women in Nicaragua; was founded in 2017, by 22 women in the framework of a project focused on the economic, political and socio-cultural empowerment of them, through the cultivation of natural coffee under shade and the addition of value to create D'Yasica coffee brand. A brand that symbolizes the empowerment and self-determination of women in the economic and political sphere.

However, in the community there is no center or space where the children have access to alternative, intercultural education and are well cared for while the mothers work in the cultivation of their small plots of land or in the process of adding value to their crops.

The women of this organization perform household chores and work in the cultivation of coffee, at the same time that they attend to the basic needs of their children, not having quality time for education with identity and the development of spiritually healthy activities.

The purpose of this project is to help women to have time to contribute to the strengthening of the organization, while their children are in the care of trained people, capable of generating regenerative, recreational, educational and spiritually relevant activities to the culture.

In response to the need to help women in their empowerment processes and to contribute to the development of children, our organization has been building the space little by little, but due to limited resources it has not been possible to complete it.

In this campaign we want to raise 6000 dollars net, to finish the construction of the house and a kitchen with basic utensils for the preparation of healthy food that will be provided by the organization and the collaboration of mothers.
