Help us to evacuate from Gaza and rebuild my home

‏I am Ansam. I got married on August 11, 2023. We got married just two months before the war. We couldn't celebrate anything in our new home. We didn't have the stable life we expected.

Our days were beautiful with my husband in our home, which he spent years furnishing with furniture and appliances. Before October 7th, I was studying pharmacy at the University of Palestine, on the verge of graduation. However, after October 7th, my studies stopped, and my dream of obtaining a degree was shattered when my university was destroyed.

‏Now, I am striving hard to travel to continue my education and fulfill my dream of becoming a pharmacist. My husband, who works as a lawyer, lost everything in the war. His company was destroyed, and he can no longer work under the current conditions in Gaza.

‏Since October 7th, we have been living through difficult days filled with terror and fear, with the sound of shelling never-ending. On November 4th, I learned that I was pregnant, which increased my fear for myself and my unborn child due to the lack of necessary food and healthcare.

‏On December 5th, we were forced to flee our home in Khan Younis to the Mawasi Khan Younis area, where we lived in tents under harsh conditions, without gas, electricity, or water. I was then in the third month of pregnancy, and there was no clinic to check on my fetus or sufficient food like eggs, milk, and fruits.

‏After four months of displacement, we were allowed to return to Khan Younis, but the occupation did not leave us a home to return to. Our house was destroyed, taking with it our dreams, memories, and everything we owned. We became homeless, me, my husband, and my unborn daughter.

‏Now, in the ninth month of pregnancy, I cannot stop thinking about how and where I will give birth. All hospitals in Gaza have stopped operating, and I cannot prepare the necessary supplies for my baby, like clothes, diapers, and milk. I wish to travel so I can give birth safely and my daughter can live in a safe country.

‏My husband and I want to travel outside Gaza to escape the war and secure a suitable life for our unborn child. Every donation, no matter how small, whether it's $5 or $10, will greatly contribute to helping us during this crisis.
