Help us to clear our September vet bill, please.

Please, please help us to help unwanted and neglected cats and kittens in need. We need your help to keep going.

We are a very small volunteer run cat rescue based in Aberdare. Most of our team hold down full time jobs as well as working hard for the

cats.

We provide shelter, food, love and veterinary treatment to as many cats and kittens in need as we possibly can. Our own homes are full of stray and unwanted cats and kittens.

Every, single day we get countless requests for help to rescue cats and kittens in need; some of those animals are in a dreadful state. Every month we work so hard to help as many cats and kittens as we can and pay our vet bills so that we can continue to help.

This month has hit us hard. Our bill for the month is over £3300. We’re inundated with stray cats and kittens. Two of those little stray kittens are Charlie (in the photo) and Barney. Both utterly overwhelmed with a serious eye infection and in terrible pain.

Despite great veterinary help and 24 hour care from our fosterers, both Charlie and Barney had to have an eye removed at just 10 and 12 weeks of age respectively. We dread to think how they would have coped if they weren’t rescued.

We’re heartbroken and drained, but we’ll never give up.

The hard work of the vets to help these kittens means our bills are higher than ever this month.

We’ve helped more cats than ever this month. Neuters of pregnant female cats who were let down and left to be attacked by unneutered males. Mums and babies now safe. Neuters of stray male cats, injured and tired from a life outside. Those lads are all now safe. Treatment of kittens with horrible eye conditions that they struggled to deal with when living outside. And so many more. All of those animals are now safe and will be found the perfect forever home where they will be adored. It’s the least they all deserve.

Our total bill this month is over £3300.

Tomorrow is the last day of the month and we need to clear as much as we can.
