Help us purchase two motorcycles for our local missionaries

. Federico Highton started a permanent mission in the Diocese of Karonga, in the northern part of the country, to preach the Gospel and "reach the unreached" in non-Catholic areas. Since then, we have helped to establish two new parishes and expand a third one due to the numerous people desiring to become Catholic and "come back home."

Our missionary platform is called the Omnes Gentes Project (OGP). The Missionaries of the OGP proclaim the Gospel where it has never been announced before and where there are no Catholic souls. For this purpose, we send missionaries who seek to win souls and strive to become saints. Every year, we conduct one or two expeditions to our mission area to help develop the Catholic faith and to provide material and spiritual support to local families. When we are not there (as we also have to attend to other mission sites in America and Asia), we rely on the collaboration of two lay missionaries, Edward Mwalwimba and Donatus Mapunda. They assist with logistical support, catechism, liturgy choir, and weekly visits to the remote villages in the area, preaching, teaching, and praying with the local people and chiefs.

A few years ago, we received a generous donation that allowed us to buy a Land Cruiser, which is extremely necessary for transportation, as most of the roads in the rural and remote areas of the country are in very poor condition, especially during the rainy season. However, fuel is extremely expensive and very difficult to find outside the major cities.

The purpose of this campaign is to seek financial support to purchase two motorcycles with safety accessories and some extra fuel for Edward and Donatus, so they can continue their mission of spreading the Word of Jesus. We aim to buy two Kinglion KL-1508TG or similar motorcycles, which are relatively easy to find in Lilongwe.
