Guru Pyari Sangat Jio, with Guru's Kirpa we're thrilled to share a remarkable milestone on our journey to secure a permanent home for Sikh Sangat in Santa Coloma de Farnes and the surroundings of Girona, Spain.

Currently, we're renting a space for our Gurdwara Sahib, but the rising costs are draining our resources, hindering our ability to serve the community fully.

Our current space, while humble, is simply not large enough to accommodate the growing needs of our Sangat, especially our youth. We envision a new Gurdwara Sahib that not only serves as a place of worship but also becomes a vibrant hub for educational, sports, and mental well-being activities.

With your generous support, we aim to construct a spacious and welcoming Gurdwara Sahib that will be a beacon of Sikh values and teachings in our community. This new space will enable us to expand our educational and religious programs, fostering a deeper understanding of Sikhi and providing a nurturing environment for our youth to thrive.

With your unwavering support, we've successfully purchased land for the construction of our Gurdwara Sahib, investing 150,000 euros in this vital foundation.

But our aspirations don't end there. With heartfelt contributions from our local Sangat, we've already gathered an impressive 200,000 euros towards our dream project. However, to realise our vision of a welcoming and inclusive Gurdwara Sahib that serves as a beacon of Sikh values and teachings, we estimate a total expenditure of approximately 1 million euros.

To bridge this gap, we're reaching out to Sangat across the globe, seeking your generous assistance in raising an additional 500,000 euros. Your support will be instrumental in turning our dream into reality, providing a sacred space where all are welcome to seek solace, community, and spiritual nourishment.

With your help, we aim to complete this monumental endeavour within the next two years from the initiation of construction. Together, let's create a sanctuary that honours the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and embodies the spirit of compassion, equality, and unity for all of humanity.
