Help us to Bring Our Cross-Cultural Romeo & Juliet to Life
Donation protected
My name is Eduardo, and as an artist, I'm committed to bringing a bold, bilingual twist to one of the greatest love stories ever told.
This summer, our two-hander reimagining of Romeo and Juliet will leap across three countries—from Mexico City to London to the Edinburgh Fringe. Along the way, we’ll explore love, rivalry, and cultural misunderstanding through comedy, chaos, and Shakespearean tragedy… performed at full speed by just two actors in 70 gloriously absurd minutes.
But ambitious storytelling takes support. We’re covering a huge amount on our own—rehearsal spaces, travel, design, and Equity-compliant pay for our brilliant cast and creatives—but we need your help to push this over the finish line.
Your donation will go toward:
Paying our artists fairly
Venue and tech fees for London & Edinburgh
✈️ Travel & freight for an international production
Fueling rehearsals (literally—snacks!)
Supporting bold new voices in cross-cultural theatre
This is a story about translation: of language, of love, of what Shakespeare can mean today. And we want to tell it on international stages—with your help.
Every donation helps—whether it’s £5, £50 or just spreading the word.
Thank you for championing indie theatre with global ambition.
El amor no necesita subtítulos—and neither does this show.
