We reach out to you today with heavy hearts, asking for your love, help, and support during this devastating time for our family.

In May 2025, our beloved father, husband, brother, uncle, grandfather, and dear friend Frank was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) — the most aggressive and devastating form of brain cancer.

At first, we held onto hope with all our hearts. After his brain surgery, we prayed for more time — for recovery, for more laughter, and for more precious moments together. Sadly, despite the surgery and months of chemotherapy, the tumour continues to grow. Frank’s condition is now inoperable, and we are facing the heartbreaking reality of a very limited time left with him.

As many of you know, I (Christian) live in Australia with my daughter Heidi, my brother Bastian lives in Canada, and our oldest brother Michel is in Berlin with his family. More than anything, we want to be together in Germany — by our father’s side, with our mother Christel, sharing love, stories, and memories, and celebrating Frank’s incredible life while we still can.

The emotional weight of this journey has been immense, and the financial strain makes it even harder. Between flights, rent, everyday bills, travel costs, and what lies ahead — including future care and funeral expenses — we’ve realized we can’t do this alone.
