Help to stay by my Daddy’s side 5 hours from home

• As a lot of our friends and my clients may know from my posts and daily updates, my Mama & Daddy were hours away from home when last Tuesday morning my Daddy collapsed from loosing to much blood. He was rushed to the closest Hospital in Statesville in critical condition and placed in a medically induced coma in an effort to stop the internal bleeding and stabilize him. My Husband and I were called and we immediately left at home at Holden Beach where we live and headed out 5 hours away to the other side of Charlotte, to Statesville NC to be by my Daddy’s side and comfort my mama, be with my sister and daughter. We have all had to travel hours from out of town to be here by his side. My Daddy is in critical condition, he’s in the Intensive Care Unit on full life support ventilator to breathe. Unfortunately, I am a self-employed/self ran local Hairstylist in the Leland area back home where we are from. I have so many amazing clients I am missing and unable to see as I can’t work and be here with my Daddy. I am currently temporarily unable to work and be here by my Daddy’s side right now. My Business expenses/rent are coming still due, bills are still due, we also have 5 sweet furr babies/animals back home being cared for at the moment by alternating neighbors while we try and stay so far from home by my Daddy’s side. We are having to stay in local hotel by the Hospital and go back and forth daily to the Critical Care Unit to sit with my Daddy, as the days go on it’s become draining emotionally and physically. I am staying here as well helping my Mother (whom has MS) and this is taking a huge toll on her with the extra stress being here out of town with my Daddy under these conditions. We are currently, My husband and I, using our savings to pay for staying 5 hours away up here. He is to critical to be air flighted to a Hospital back home. My husband is also having to take a leave from work to be here. What originated as a couple of days away from home as my Daddy seemed to be getting better yet critical but stable in the beginning, has now taken a turn for the worse and he’s in serious critical condition now, we don’t know how long we will need to continue to stay away from home in order to be here with him and my family. All of us are away far from home(my sister,daughter & brother n law are all self employed as well). We are all under so much stress to say the least. When you are self employed if you don’t work, you don’t get paid. I have tried to help so many others along the way, giving many free services and/or discounts during COVID times/haircuts ect., to the ones needing jobs or trying to get on their feet, ladies who couldn’t afford services after the shutdown, allowing extended payment plans ect,... I have a good heart and I’m a hard worker, unfortunately I’m humbly asking for help to be able to stay next to my Daddy during this time as I can’t choose between work and being by his side. If you are able to help or can find in your heart to please donate to the emergency expenses it’s taking for us to continue to stay by his side we would be so grateful. Anything helps and all is so appreciated. Your prayers are just as appreciated. I don’t like to ask for help, I work for what I earn, this kills me to do so, but it’s taken a toll on us overall as a whole, we are ok currently but we don’t know how long we are going to have to stay this way balancing life back home and continuing to stay afloat here 5 hours away as he is in critical condition and not currently getting better. It’s costing us hotel, eating out, gas, and keeping up our already pre -existing bills as the days go on. I’m having to make sure my 5 animals are continuing to be fed and cared for daily as we aren’t there to be with them. We miss them so bad, but we are having to do what we have to do. 
  

My Daddy is a Good Man, He retired from Progress Energy a few years back, he was a hardworking man all his life. He raised my sister and myself and now has 5 precious grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. (All under the age of 5 years old) They don’t understand why their Grandpa hasn’t came home. HE IS SO LOVED
