Since 2022, my ex has dragged me through every court in Oregon and Sweden, initially contesting the restraining order resulting after his arrest for assaulting me in front of our son, through two high-conflict divorces and custody proceedings, including him filing Hague Convention charges against me for parental kidnapping and illegal detainment when we returned to Oregon from Sweden despite his continued residence in Oregon (and he bought the tickets!).

These three years of constant legal entanglement have left me exhausted, emotionally, energetically, and financially. For over a year, I had to defend myself against four different lawsuits brought by my ex.

Abusers change tactics to keep their target confused and exposed, vulnerable to new attack campaigns. My ex has learned that through the courts he can force me to continue engaging with him when I only want peace.

Abuse in our relationship was horrific; post-separation abuse is worse. I need help, because we're right back at Square 1 with another hearing on August 8 in which my ex is contesting the restraining order renewal.

If you know my ex, you understand how scary this is.
