I was holding off posting until I had more details...

Please pray for me... They found a spot on my brain, and my cerebral tonsils are apparently sticking out the bottom of my skull and pinching my spinal cord... I have to have brain surgery... yes you read that correctly, BRAIN SURGERY!

the intercranial pressure in my head is off the charts high...Doc said I'm a ticking time bomb if I don't have the surgery...stroke/aneurysm/etc... Right now surgery is tentatively scheduled for December 19th. So with that being said, I will be out of commission and in recovery about 8 weeks depending on the extent of the surgery. And that is best case scenario right now.

This is very unexpected and came at a really rough time for us. The out of pocket cost for the surgery along with me not being able to work (after Ryan was just furloughed without pay during the shutdown) is going to leave us in a pickle... any help is greatly appreciated...

We do plan to do our best to get all of our regular clients stocked up on hay/feed prior to my surgery as we will be closed/not delivering until I am out of my recovery period. I do not plan to shut down for good, my goal is to get back to work as soon as my neurosurgeon clears me!

With that being said, we will NOT be accepting visitors during my recovery period either... doc said it is entirely too risky, any infection can be lethal during that time. If you want to bring something by and leave it in the store on the counter you are welcome to do so and Ryan can get it when he goes up to check our mail.
