Rally for Karen Morgan: Rebuild and Restore

Karen Morgan is a highly respected Insights industry recruiter whom many of us consider a friend. For many years, Karen has contributed to our community and warmheartedly helped so many people -repeatedly throughout their careers. During the L.A. fires Karen lost her home of 20 years and her place of business. Her insurer is playing the classic deny/delay/defend game and has not provided her with a penny. So on top of the trauma of losing everything, she is in a position where she needs to fight to be made whole after having paid premiums for decades. To quote Karen, “it’s hell.” Making it even worse, she is paying rent while still covering her mortgage, as the banks so far refuse to confirm that signing up for their forbearance program won’t lead to issues later (despite never being late on a payment). Karen is a Brit, it’s not her nature to ask for help. But this is an extreme time, and so she agreed to let me build a GoFundMe account on her behalf. The Insights community is amazing—let’s show our strength as a community by rallying behind one of our own that is in need.
