My name is Raphael and I am fundraising for my wife Bruna, a loving mum who has been struggling with her health for months. What started as something she could somehow manage has now become a daily nightmare. For the last three weeks she has been extremely weak, unable to work, and this has taken a huge toll on her mental health and on our family life.

Bruna has been to three different NHS hospitals, but so far no one has been able to find out what is really wrong. She kept being sent home with no clear answers while her symptoms kept getting worse. With the help of family and a few amazing friends, we managed to pay for two private exams and three medical consultations. At the very first private appointment, the doctor finally found evidence that there is a real problem, but he needs further tests and follow‑up consultations to understand exactly what is happening and how to treat it.

The doctor was surprised that this had been missed in all her previous hospital visits, which was painful but also a relief – at least now we know we are not imagining it. Private care is giving us a chance to finally get answers, but the costs are quickly becoming more than we can afford. At the same time, we still need to keep our home running and care for our children while Bruna is unable to work.

We are raising funds to pay for the next round of private tests, consultations with specialists, and any treatment that may be needed once we have a diagnosis. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly towards Bruna’s medical costs and supporting our family during this time.
