The filming is complete, now we need your help to finish and polish it. We want to present this to multiple production companies as a proof of concept.

The Missing Award is a Birmingham-made short film created by an incredible local cast and crew. We’re raising money primarily to pay for professional editing and post-production, giving the film the finish it deserves before we submit it to festivals.

Every donation or share helps us get The Missing Award seen.

Full story.

A Birmingham-made short film. A brilliant team. One missing award. Now we need your help to take it further.

The Missing Award started with a simple idea: bring a group of talented people together, have some fun, and make a short film we could be proud of.

What happened next was so much bigger.

We brought together an incredible cast and crew from the Birmingham film community and turned the idea into a real film, one filled with comedy, chaos, friendship and a whole lot of heart.

The film has now been screened through the ReelBrum 48 Hour Film Challenge, and we're incredibly proud of what our team achieved.

But we're not ready to stop there!

The film has Tej Dhuttia (comedian), Fozia Fazil (Traitors Season 3).

What's next?

We now want to give The Missing Award the professional finishing it deserves and start submitting it to film festivals across the UK and internationally.

We're raising £2,000 to help us with:

Professional editing and post-production

Colour grading

Sound design and audio finishing

Film festival submission fees

Marketing and promotional materials

Creating the best possible festival version of the film

Every donation, no matter how small, helps.

£5. £10. £20. £50.

It all adds up.

Why this means so much to me?

My journey into filmmaking hasn't been straightforward.

For many years I worked as a pharmacist. I had a completely different career and a completely different path ahead of me.

But filmmaking was always something I wanted to pursue.

I've now taken the leap and started building a career as a filmmaker, directing, producing, acting, shooting and learning every part of the process along the way.

The Missing Award represents exactly why I made that leap.

It's about bringing people together, creating something from nothing and giving people the opportunity to make something they're proud of.

And that's what this film has already done for us.

Now we'd love to see how far we can take it.

Help us get The Missing Award seen

Our dream is to submit the film to festivals across Birmingham, the UK and internationally, and hopefully bring some recognition back to the incredible cast and crew who gave their time, energy and talent to make this happen.

We're not asking you to fund an idea.

The film has already been made.

We're asking you to help us take something we've created together and give it the best possible chance of being seen.

If you can donate, thank you.

If you can't, sharing this page with someone who loves film would mean just as much.

And if you see The Missing Award at a festival one day, remember that you helped us get there.

Let's find that missing award.

Thank you for supporting independent filmmaking and our amazing Birmingham film community.

With love,
