Hello! We are Cadillac Productions, a female led theatre company tackling underrepresentation in theatre in hilarious ways.
Our aim is to build a community of artists who have outrageous stories to tell, even when no one will listen.
After a sell-out run at Camden Fringe with our debut show Who Could Understand a Dragon, we are taking our second show Love (5 ways) to this year's Edinburgh Fringe, and we'd appreciate a little help with funding...
About the production:
Love (5 ways) is a multi-rolling two-hander that interrogates love in all its forms through the lens of an ethically non-monogamous (ENM) polycule, in a shocking, laugh-out-loud comedy.
Set on a floating pizza barge that specialises in small-batch bone-broth vodka, the polycule come together for a raucous evening of debauchery and sex to celebrate the marriage of one of its core couples: Bre and Rob.
Meanwhile, we follow Max and Mila’s journey (a newly ENM mixed couple who have been together since Uni) as they grapple with the new shape of their relationship within the polycule. For Mila, navigating her family's strict South Asian norms in the face of Gen-Z’s version of swingers, and for Max, a chance to explore his bisexuality.
With a narrative structure that weaves between the party on the barge, and flashbacks of Max and Mila’s journey into ENM, the play is a witty interrogation of intimacy: with hedonism, jealousy, and Cornish independence smattered throughout.
Love (5 ways) is a non-judgmental celebration of sexual diversity and the constant challenge that relationships present (whether they’re with one person, or five people).
Join Max and Mila as they find their way through: it’s messy and outrageous, it’s raw and tender, it’s intimate and it’s real.
Love (5 ways) will leave you laughing, crying and maybe, just maybe, swinging.
We appreciate any and every donation. We cannot wait to share our production with you all!.
Thank you!
Lots of Love,
Sabah and Freya x
