Help us take mom home to her final resting place

Our sweet mom Fotini came from Cyprus to New York to live with us three and a half years ago at the age of 88. A refugee from the Turkish occupied town of Famagusta, she wished with all her heart to live long enough to one day go back home to her beloved Famagusta. That wish was not to be granted as she passed away last Monday November 9th 2020 here in New York. Her second wish was to be burried with our father back home in Limassol, in the free part of the island and that wish will be granted. The cost of taking her back home, including mine and my sister's plane tickets, is $15,000.00. The pandemic had a great economic impact on our family.
The money raised will help us cover the cost of transporting her remains to Cyprus, the funeral and our travel expenses.
