Help Us Survive This War in Gaza

Who is this for:
This fundraiser is started on behalf of my Aunt (Enas Hamad) and her family; my name is Salaam Hamad, and I reside in Canada.

Enas's story:
My name is Enas Hamad. I’m from Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza. I am a wife and mother to four children — three sons and a daughter.

For months now, my family and I have been living through unimaginable suffering. I am ill, not only from physical pain, but from the deep emotional toll of living under constant siege. Access to medication is nearly impossible, and essential supplies are almost nonexistent. My 13-year-old son, Samer, is also sick — he suffers from severe pain and urticaria, a painful skin condition. Every night, I watch him cry, and I can do nothing to ease his pain. There is no medical care available.

But our struggles go far beyond illness. Since the beginning of the war, we have been forcibly displaced eight times, fleeing from one tent to another under heavy bombardment. We have endured scorching heat, cold rain, hunger, and poverty — all while trying to protect our children with nothing but thin canvas and prayer. My children have lost their right to an education. My eldest son, born in 2006, was unable to finish high school because of the ongoing conflict, and due to the aggressive war imposed by the Zionist regime.

We have lost family members too. My cousin, Hedaya Hamad, who was the Director of Volunteers for the Palestinian Red Crescent, was martyred — shot while working in a hospital trying to save lives.

Today, we are still displaced in the south of Gaza. We cannot return to Gaza City due to our dire financial situation. Food and clean water are scarce. Prices for basic necessities are unbearable — even a bag of flour now costs over $150/bag. My younger sister was recently injured — her arm was broken — and like so many others, she cannot get the medical treatment she needs.

We are asking for your help. With your support, we hope to escape this brutal siege where hopefully one day we can simply live in peace.

Please, stand with us. Your donation can help us survive today — and build hope for tomorrow.

How will the funds be sent/distributed:
Collected funds will be sent via trusted channels means such as WesternUnion, MoneyGram, or direct bank wire transfer to the recipient affected family.
