Asalam Walaikum (peace and blessing upon you and hello beautiful community, my name is Ema. As a teacher I have come across children from all walks of life and truly believe it is a crime against humanity to deprive anyone from an education.

Which is why I feel obligated to help Najat and Muhammad. Najat (19) who graduated from Highschool with a brilliant GPA and Muhammad who was a 3rd level collage student. Both unable to continue their education due to the ongoing genocide in Gaza and destruction of their home. Both with so much potential to not only better their life, but make a difference in their community in Palestine.

A message from Najat…

‎‏My story is one of the tragic stories that is happening in the Gaza Strip. I am Najat, an ambitious girl. Recently, I graduated from high school with a grade of 98.7%. I was excited to enter university and achieve my dreams and set out goals in order to implement the plans I made.

Unfortunately, the occupation had a different opinion. It destroyed the university and buried my dream under its rubble. It bombed houses next to my family's home and targeted our house with shells, which led to a great deal of damage to it. We were forced to move from the north to south of Gaza, claiming that it was a safe area. We moved many times, only to find ourselves in a moment homeless. Our only option was to live in a tent under harsh conditions. Instantly we were homeless, nothing in our life, our future is unknown and all our dreams of becoming something turned into dreams of surviving the war and leaving Gaza in order to complete building our future.

‎‏My family consists of 7 members, my mother and father. My older brother, Muhammad who is a third-level student at the College of Engineering and Information Technology. He was trying to improve himself through courses in addition to his university studies as a means to better his family’s income.

‎‏My little sisters, Malak and Maryam.
‎‏Malak who is 14 years old, entered the tenth grade this year. Maryam is an 8-year-old girl. She was diligent in her studies and received all the support from her teachers and family.

My younger brother, Ali, is one and a half years old.He spent half his life in this war. He grew up, walked on his feet, and began speaking about the war. Instead of spending this period between his games at home, he spent it in a tent under difficult conditions due to the lack of food and children’s supplies.

‎‏I am now searching for my unknown future and my lost dreams, and I have no idea how I will complete my studies.
‎‏I appeal to every living conscience, and I await your humanity and generous donation.

1. Each of them needs 5,000 US dollars to reach Egyptian lands as a coordination of a company.
2. Need additional 35k for living expenses to get started in Egypt for family and educational cost for Najat and Muhammad for college in order to pursue their goals and reach their dreams.

Please community at large let us come together to hear the voices of the oppressed like Najat and her family. Najat and her family reached out to me entrusting me with their future as a friend and 100% of donation will be sent to the family. I will do my best to be as transparent and provide updates and evidence of transfer.

Let us help them escape the injustice they are facing so they can survive and continue their education. Then one day when they have reached their goals, may they return to a FREE PALESTINE and help rebuild what was destroyed by the occupation.
