(Hi, I'm setting up this fundraiser for Manal, Noor, and Dohaa, who I am in touch with. They are three Palestinians living in Gaza. Their house was destroyed by the occupation, and since then, they’ve had to live in a tent under terrible conditions. Besides the bombings, they’re facing devastating famine and a severe lack of medicine. I’ll let Noor tell you their story for the three of them.)

(EN) Hello, I am Nour, I'm 16 and I live in Gaza. My father died when I was one year old, meaning that I did not know his voice, nor did I know his appearance or smell, but my mother did not make us feel inferior in all our lives, and she was always the ideal for all mothers who played the role of mother and father.

My mother, my sister, and I used to live a happy life.

And full of joy in our beautiful, safe and warm home, and we ate the best foods. My mother’s dream was to see us graduate from our schools and universities. My sister’s dream was to complete her studies and become an engineer. As for me, my dream was to grow up and become an orthopedic doctor and treat my mother who suffers from osteoarthritis and joints and take her out of the country because she She suffers from blood pressure and thyroid disease. Our lives were simple and our dreams were beautiful.

That was before our lives turned into a tragedy and our dreams were shattered by the war....

The cruel and barbaric war came and destroyed our dreams, destroyed our home, burned our memories, and deprived us of the most basic human rights.

At just 16 and 13 years old, we have to take care of our mother and try to survive in this devastating and cruel war.

We have been deprived of our youth, our education, and our dreams. Today, we are trying to survive as best we can, but the hunger is overwhelming.

This fundraiser will help us cover our basic needs (food, medicine). There are 3 beneficiaries:

(FR) Bonjour, je suis Nour, j'ai 16 ans et je vis à Gaza. Mon père est mort quand j'avais un an, ce qui signifie que je ne connaissais ni sa voix, ni son apparence, ni son odeur, mais ma mère ne nous a jamais fait ressentir un manque tout au long de notre vie. Elle a toujours été l'exemple idéal de toutes les mères, jouant le rôle de mère et de père.

Ma mère, ma sœur et moi menions une vie heureuse, pleine de joie, dans notre belle maison, sûre et chaleureuse, et nous mangions les meilleurs plats. Le rêve de ma mère était de nous voir obtenir nos diplômes scolaires et universitaires. Le rêve de ma sœur était de terminer ses études et de devenir ingénieure. Quant à moi, mon rêve était de grandir et de devenir médecin orthopédiste pour soigner ma mère qui souffre d'arthrose et de problèmes articulaires, et de l'emmener à l'étranger car elle souffre d'hypertension et de maladie de la thyroïde. Nos vies étaient simples et nos rêves étaient beaux.

C'était avant que nos vies ne se transforment en tragédie et que nos rêves ne soient brisés par la guerre...

La guerre cruelle et barbare est venue et a détruit nos rêves, détruit notre maison, brûlé nos souvenirs et nous a privés des droits humains les plus fondamentaux.

La maison remplie de nos souvenirs a été détruite par l'occupation.

À seulement 16 et 13 ans, nous devons prendre soin de notre mère et tenter de survivre dans cette guerre dévastatrice et cruelle.

Nous avons été privés de notre jeunesse, de notre éducation et de nos rêves. Aujourd'hui, nous essayons de survivre tant bien que mal, mais la faim est écrasante.
