In January, we became homeless—my husband, our son, and myself. As soon as our tax return hit, we put it all as a down payment on a teeny tiny RV that we could call our own. On March 2nd, we finally had a home. We have been parked at Bradshaw Sunset RV Park in Springtown, Texas, for the past two months, and it’s been wonderful.
But as soon as we started to feel safe and secure, on April 25th at 10:30 pm, our lives changed again. A strong storm produced an EF-1 and EF-2 tornado in Springtown and Runaway Bay. Our entire life was flipped on its end quite literally. The brand new RV that we were so proud to call home was picked up and thrown by the force of the tornado. All of our clothes and personal belongings were destroyed.
We do have full coverage insurance and are going through that process, but in the meantime, we could use help with replacing the things we lost and surviving the next few weeks until we can work out a plan on where we go from here. Any and all help would be super appreciated, thank you in advance.
