Hey, we're Cyrus and Melody! We're two disabled trans people on the verge of homelessness.
It's been a long year. After Melody was laid off in February they've been endlessly job hunting with no success, at the cost of their physical and mental health. We've exhausted all of our resources, we've sold nearly all of our belongings, we've had to rely on people's generosity just to get from month to month and frankly: we need a break.
If we can raise $2000, that will cover a couple months worth of rent/utilities and let us just... breathe, for the first time in nearly a year. Schedule doctor's appointments. Clean the apartment. Buy shoes that don't have holes in them. Get our cat a long overdue checkup. All the little things we simply haven't had the time or energy for when we don't even know how we'll survive from week to week.
Any and all help, whether its money, spreading the word, or just sending words of encouragement our way is greatly appreciated. If somehow we go above goal we promise to spend it spoiling our cat to make up for a year of having to eat cheap food and no new toys.
