I’m creating this GoFundMe for our dear friend Vanessa, someone who has been a constant light in our life and in the lives of so many others.

At her young age, she has recently been given the news that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. This diagnosis has turned her world upside down, bringing with it not only physical and emotional challenges, but also financial ones that no one should have to face alone—especially during a fight like this.

She is one of the most beautifully selfless people I know. She is a devoted daughter, always putting her family first. She is the most loving aunt and cousin, endlessly patient, supportive, and present for all the younger members of her family who adore her. She is also a wonderful varsity cheer coach who pours her heart into mentoring and uplifting her athletes, teaching them confidence, discipline, and teamwork—often giving far more than she ever asks for in return.

Now, she needs us.

As she begins treatment, she will be facing medical bills, time away from work, and the everyday expenses that don’t stop just because life gets hard. This fundraiser is meant to help ease that burden so she can focus on what truly matters: healing, resting, and fighting with the same strength she has always shown for others.

If you are able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to her and to those of us who love her. If you can’t donate, keeping her in your thoughts and prayers is just as appreciated.
