There isn't any easy way to say this... so we will just be as direct as possible. On March 1st, Justin took our mom, Tina Flint, to the hospital after she wasn't feeling well. After some tests, doctors discovered multiple tumors in her brain and suspect cancer.

On Monday, March 3rd, Mom underwent her first brain surgery to remove the largest tumor which was causing her extreme pain. We are still waiting for the pathology results to come back. She has another surgery scheduled for Monday, March 10th, to remove two more tumors and get a better idea of which direction to go.

At this time, we don't have a clear treatment plan from the doctors or oncologists, as they want to wait until after the second surgery to better understand the situation.

Although Mom is in good spirits, this has been an overwhelming experience for all of us. We all know Tina as a shiny, bright, fun-loving Mom to everyone. She's going to need support right now as she fights the battle of her life.
