I have tackled Cornwall, Coast to Coast Scotland, and my first triathlon.

My next challenge on 4th July 2026 will be the 100 mile ultramarathon from

Bamburgh Castle to Edinburgh Castle. I will have 48 hours to complete the challenge, moving day and night along the coast facing mental and physical challenges, utilising pit stops, local sports clubs and possibly Greggs for support. This is a huge challenge for a fantastic cause.

The Sheffield Motor Neuron Disorders Care and Research Centre offers multi-disciplinary care and support to patients and carers living with Motor Neuron Disorders (MND) and related neurodegenerative conditions.

Our specialist multi-disciplinary team are experts in the management of MND and work closely with community teams across the region to ensure that patients and their carers receive the information, advice and support they need.

Our Care Centre Coordinator acts as a single point of contact for people living with MND, providing emotional support, advice and education for patients, carers and fellow healthcare professionals.

As part of the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience (SITraN), our team is at the forefront of research into neurodegenerative disorders, pioneering new treatments and bringing new hope to patients and families across the country.
