We will be walking the west highland way starting on the 17th of June we aim to complete the 96 miles in 6 days. We thought this would be a great opportunity to raise some money for a charity that support a cause that is very close to our hearts and that we live and breathe every day.
Autism is a lifelong developmental disability which effects how people communicate and interact with the world. More than 1 in 100 people are on the autism spectrum and there are around 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK
The Nation Autistic Society help the 700,000 autistic people in the UK and their families. Be it running specialist schools, campaigning for improved rights or training companies on being more autism-friendly, we are dedicated to transforming lives and changing attitudes.
Mylo was diagnosed with autism in April 2017. Without the National Autistic Society the early days of his diagnosis would have been a lot harder and frightening. We want to help to ensure that Mylo continues to receive the support he deserves and help raise awareness around autism to ensure that he and others on the spectrum are accepted and celebrated in a world that can be hard for them to understand. The National Autistic society is a rock for so many families, helping them navigate a world that can often bring so many uncertainties in raising or caring for an individual with autism.
We ask you donate anything you can comfortably to help us support this amazing charity continue with the incredible work they do. Please ensure that if you are unable to support financially that you can make a world of difference by spreading awareness and educating others. As parents and carers to Mylo our biggest hope is that he grows up in a world where he and others like him are free to be themselves without judgment or discrimination . Thank you in advance. Your support means the world to us.
