It is with shattered hearts that we share the sudden and tragic loss of Christopher — a loving husband, devoted father of three, and a man who embodied resilience, courage, and love. Christopher passed away after a tragic accident, leaving behind his wife of 12 years, Natasha, and their three beautiful children: Jack (11), Susie (9), and Ryen (7), who were the center of his world.
Christopher’s life was anything but easy, but he met every challenge with strength and determination. Born with a serious heart condition, he spent his life defying the odds — undergoing countless treatments and surgeries with courage and hope. Years ago, he survived another unimaginable event that he overcame with grace and grit. Through it all, he remained steadfast in his love for his family, never once letting the pain stop him from being present for his children or his wife.
If you knew Christopher, you knew his love for hockey. It wasn’t just a sport to him — it was a passion, a bond he shared with his kids, and a symbol of the fight he carried in his heart. You could always find Chris cheering on Jack and Ryen from the stands wearing his Chicago Stallions gear. Just as passionately, he supported Susie at her volleyball matches— cheering her on with the same fierce love and unwavering encouragement that defined him as a father. Sports weren’t just activities for his children — they were moments of joy, connection, and pride that Chris treasured deeply.
Now, in the wake of this devastating loss, we are rallying around his family to help them navigate the days ahead. The emotional toll is beyond words, and we are asking for your support in ensuring that Natasha, Jack, Susie, and Ryen find a way to begin the long road of healing without the man who meant everything to them.
The Stallions have also organized a scholarship for Jack and Ryen: “Many in our community have asked how they can show support. We have been in touch with Chris’ family and donations can be made in Chris's name to the Stallions Hockey Association. These funds will be used for a scholarship for his children. Please know how much the family appreciates your compassion and willingness to help. Zelle to email: info@chicagostallions;
Checks can be made out to Stallions Hockey Association mailed or dropped off to Fifth Third Arena (1801 W. Jackson Blvd, Chicago, IL 60612”
Let us honor Christopher’s memory by helping to carry forward the love, strength, and legacy he leaves behind. Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers during this heartbreaking time.
