Help us support Sophia and her family

Hi,

I’m writing with a heavy heart to ask for support for my beautiful cousin Sophia. She just turned 15 this February and is currently in the hospital facing an incredibly tough battle with ulcerative colitis. Despite undergoing countless tests and trying several treatments, nothing has helped so far. Now, doctors are preparing for one last treatment option before a life-changing surgery becomes necessary.

Sophia has been transferred between two children’s hospitals, both far from her home. Her parents have been by her side every step of the way, but with her siblings back home, they’re constantly juggling long drives, expensive parking, medical bills, and the emotional weight of being pulled in multiple directions. They’re doing everything they can — being strong for Sophia in the hospital while trying to keep things as normal as possible for their other kids at home. Both Nicole and Ryan have had to take significant time off work to care for Sophia and manage everything happening at home.

This situation was sudden, scary, and overwhelming — something no family is ever truly prepared for. We’re reaching out not just for donations, but for love, prayers, and any support you can give. If you’re able to contribute financially, it would help ease some of the burden so they can focus on what matters most: being present for Sophia and each other.
