We’re reaching out to ask for your help in supporting someone incredibly special to us – our dear colleague and friend, Denise Wilden.

Denise, who is 70 years young, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. This heart-breaking news has deeply affected everyone who knows and loves her – and there are many of us.

Until very recently, Denise worked as a Home Care Assistant at Your Home Care, where she provided exceptional support, care, and compassion to her clients. Anyone who’s met Denise knows that her kindness, empathy, and dedication made a lasting impact on everyone she cared for.

A Heart as Bright as Her Hair

Denise is truly one of a kind – her personality is as vibrant and joyful as her signature bright hair. She has always put others first, offering comfort, companionship, and care to those who needed it most. Whether it was lending a listening ear or going the extra mile for a client, Denise brought warmth and light into every room.

Now, it’s time for us to give back.

Our Mission to Support Denise

We want to do everything we can to ease some of the financial and emotional pressure Denise is facing. We’re organising a series of fundraisers – from sponsored mountain climbs and bake sales to car boot sales and dog walks – all in Denise’s name, to help raise the support she needs during this incredibly difficult time.

All funds raised will go directly towards helping Denise with everyday expenses, travel to medical appointments, and anything else that might make her journey a little easier and more comfortable.
