**Help Us Support Our Parents' Long Road to Recovery**
On June 25, 2025, our lives changed forever. While celebrating their anniversary on a beautiful ride along Route 18, our parents were involved in a devastating motorcycle accident near Niagara Falls. In a moment that should have been filled with joy and love, tragedy struck.
My father was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital in critical condition. He suffers from multiple fractures, punctured lungs, and a severe traumatic brain injury. He has undergone facial reconstruction surgery, a tracheotomy, surgery on his leg and now relies on a feeding bag placed in his stomach. The uncertainty of his recovery weighs heavily on our hearts.
My mother, who was transported by ambulance to the same hospital, is also facing her own battle. She has suffered head trauma and multiple fractures in her spine, hip, pelvis, and leg. The road to recovery for her is daunting, as she will require more surgeries to regain her mobility. In just two weeks, she is scheduled to undergo a procedure that will take bone from her other leg to repair her right leg, leaving her unable to walk for an extended period.
Despite the dire circumstances, we are grateful they both survived. It is a blessing, one that we attribute to the grace of God. However, the reality of their injuries has left my parents facing an overwhelming burden of medical bills. The costs associated with their hospital stays, surgeries, and the emergency airlift to save their lives are rapidly accumulating.
Our parents are the backbone of our family, providing love and support to everyone around them. Now, they need our help. My mother is unable to work due to her injuries, and my father's situation remains uncertain as he is still in a sedated state. We are unsure what life will look like once he is awake, and the long road to recovery stretches ahead of us.
We are reaching out to our friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers to ask for your support during this incredibly challenging time. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in helping to cover medical expenses and support my parents as we navigate this difficult journey.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering helping our family. Your generosity and support mean the world to us. Together, we can give our parents the chance to heal and recover from this unimaginable tragedy.
