Help Us Support Our Emergency Medical Workers

This past week, Pizzana has been cooking free meals for Los Angeles doctors, nurses and emergency medical workers who are on the front lines fighting the pandemic. As you can imagine, they are overwhelmed and working long hours away from their loved ones, putting their lives at risk to protect us.
As requests pour in, we find ourselves in a difficult position struggling to donate food while our industry is facing a crisis of its own. So we are asking for your help.
We have established a GoFundMe campaign to sustain our donations to these amazing people fighting this difficult and emotional battle. Every dollar raised will be turned into food deliveries to Los Angeles area hospitals including UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Each week, Pizzana will allocate a minimum of $3000 to cook meals for medical workers. Pizzana will pack these meals according to the recipient facility’s health and safety procedures and then deliver them directly to the donation recipients. Pizzana will cover all food, packaging, coordination and delivery costs. Pizzana will continue to allocate funds donated to this campaign in this way until all funds are used.
Pizzana is currently in contact with the administration of several Los Angeles-area hospitals to coordinate these deliveries. Our contacts at each hospital let us know which departments are in the greatest need for donations and on which dates and times. We follow their preferred delivery parameters and requested quantities.
