Help Support Bane: Road to Recovery

Hello everyone, this is our sweet loving boy Bane. He is 11 years old and has been a big part of our family since he was 6 weeks old. My wife Kinzi originally got him when she was diagnosed with bad anxiety and panic attacks to be her emotional support companion. He was the only thing that helped her get through that hard time in her life. Since then he has been there for all of our families most important moments. He has helped raise our daughter Zelda since she was born. He has been her dress up partner, movie companion, sleeping buddy, and most importantly her best friend. Through all of the hard times and all of our favorite memories, he has been there, being the best boy there ever was.

As you all may know, Bane was hospitalized this weekend after he unexpectedly declined in a 24 hour period. He stopped eating, could barely walk, and was having a hard time breathing. Yes he is old but before he caught this unknown infection he was perfectly healthy. He has many happy years left he just needs to be able to get better. We almost lost him the first night in the hospital, but he has slowly started to respond to his treatments. We were able to take him home but have been back to the hospital multiple times for complications in his recovery. He is still not out of the woods and could need more hospitalizations or medications since we still don’t know exactly what’s causing him to be sick.

The costs are quickly adding up so we are reaching out for help, whether through a donation, a share, or simply keeping Bane in your thoughts and prayers. Every little bit helps and will go directly towards Bane’s medical bills and help our family get through this unexpected hard time. Asking for help is never easy, but knowing the love and kindness that surrounds us gives me hope.
