Help Us Support Mickey In His Fight Against Lung Cancer

On January 16th, 2025, our dad was diagnosed with stage 3 non-small cell lung cancer. Getting the news felt like someone ripped the earth from beneath our feet. Our dad has always been the foundation of our family, our solid ground. He always made sure we knew no matter what we were going through in life, whether it be individually or all of us collectively, he made sure we knew none of us were alone and we could face anything and everything as long as we had each other.

This situation has completely flipped our lives in every direction. My sister and I are helping our parents in every way that we can, but it’s just not enough. As most of you know, our dad has been the sole provider of our family due to my mom's own medical issues. They are living on a fixed income from my mom's SSI check, which doesn’t even cover their mortgage. My dad has been trying to continue to work in between the many doctor’s appointments just to keep them afloat, but as you can imagine, the bills are quickly piling up. My dad is expected to have to undergo chemo and radiation for the next 6 to 8 weeks. He will get chemo every Monday and radiation every day Monday-Friday. We are asking for help from all of you. With everything else going on, we're asking for help to relieve the financial burden from my parents during this time so my dad is able to focus solely on healing and kicking cancer's ass.
