Lahaina has been our brother’s home for the last six years. James has been a valuable member of the local community serving the thriving tourist industry. James has ultimate respect for the local culture, traditions, land, and the people who have become his family. This beautiful historic town has just suffered the most devastating wildfire in its history. Thankfully, James is safe and sheltering in Napili thanks to some friends that took him and his girlfriend in after they were able to evacuate. Unfortunately, he and most of his community lost everything in these fires.

We created this fundraiser to help him get back on his feet and relieve financial stress as he mourns with his community and charts a new course. As Lahaina and the tourist economy rebuilds, he will be in search of a new livelihood and finding a new place to call home. The true loss is unknown, as the fires and devastation are ongoing. We are not able to communicate with him due to the cell tower loss, so please say a prayer for him and his girlfriend, Allie, as they pick up the pieces of his destroyed home and take inventory of all that has been lost. Any amount donated will help my brother build his life back. Thank you all.
