For over 15 years, Nancy Lyles has been a beloved and dedicated educator in the Huntsville area, touching the lives of countless children and families. Her passion for teaching and unwavering commitment to her students—especially during her 8 impactful years at Little Madison Academy—made her a pillar of strength, guidance, and love in our community.
But Nancy is more than just a teacher—she’s the heart of a loving family. She is a devoted mother to Nelda Heatherly, a proud grandmother to Richard Lee Heatherly, and a cherished great-grandmother to Camden Heatherly. Her love and wisdom have shaped generations, both inside the classroom and at home.
Nancy is also a little person, and throughout her life, she has faced the challenges of her disability with grace, resilience, and independence. As she now faces a diagnosis of dementia, along with several other serious health challenges, her care needs have increased significantly. Due to her stature and mobility limitations, she also requires specialized equipment and accommodations to ensure her safety, comfort, and dignity.
We are currently seeking to place Mrs. Lyles in a facility where she can receive the high-quality, specialized healthcare she truly deserves—care that supports both her medical and accessibility needs.
Sincerely,
The Lyle’s and Heatherly Family
