My name is Jordan Burnett and I'm a teacher at Mountain City Public Montessori in Asheville, NC.

My colleague and friend, Mirabel Winston, lost the home she shares with her two daughters and partner to tree damage during Hurricane Helene. The roof of their home has collapsed and displaced the family since the storm. They need funds to cover expenses like travel, continued mortgage payments, new items that have been ruined by the damage and much more. They are currently safe but need support to rebuild the life they lost. This time is financially burdensome and will be for the foreseeable future.
