It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news that Eisner, the beloved grandson of Manuela Mahua, has passed away from tuberculosis.

Eisner was only 15 years old — so young, so full of potential. Known for his calm nature, his physical strength, and his athletic spirit, he brought light and joy to those around him. Tragically, the tuberculosis was discovered too late, and despite every effort, Eisner could not be saved.

Many of you who have visited us and sat with us in ceremony have heard Manuela’s name. She is a pillar of wisdom and generosity, and it is thanks to her that we are able to support so many of you on your own healing journeys. Now, she and her family are facing an unimaginable loss and the difficult task of laying Eisner to rest with love and dignity.

We are reaching out to our community to ask for your support.
