On the 18th of December 2020 tragedy struck and Luis Godinho passed away due to a motorbike accident. He leaves behind his 6 children, Lucas, Nevaeh, Kiarah, Mason, Ashton, Braxton and the love of his life Tyler.
Today, the 20th of December we should have been celebrating his 29th birthday but instead we are all in mourning of a life taken far to soon.
Luis had the ability to walk into any room and make everyone feel like everyone would be ok as long as we are together and we are happy. All the stresses in the world were irrelevant as long as you have family.
Something that he would say often is “It’s in the past” whether that was about the fact that he didn’t do the dishes or that he had a disagreement with someone. Life is all about living in the present and no one embodied that more then Luis. Our lives have been turned upside down and nothing is going to mend the pain we are all feeling.
Christmas is in a week and instead of celebrating and enjoying the holidays we are now planning a funeral. We understand these are trying times for everyone but we ask kindly if everyone can dig deep and make a small donation. Anything and everything will make all the difference to the family that Luis has left behind. His family need to focus on grieving and healing instead of having the added stress of funeral expenses and generally living costs for his partner Tyler and his 6 children.
We want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support we have received. His legacy lives on in all of us.
