We're Clark Estates and on 12th April 2026, our team will be running the City of Lincoln 10km Challenge to raise vital funds and support for a family from our community.
We’re proud to be rallying behind 13-year-old Louie Pickles, who has touched so many people’s hearts with his kindness, compassion, and infectious positivity. Tragically, Louie was diagnosed with bone cancer last year - News that devastated his family and everyone who knows him.
Louie started chemotherapy at the end of last year and, heartbreakingly, spent both Christmas and his 13th birthday in hospital undergoing treatment. His fight continues with further medical treatment and care in the months ahead.
Louie’s parents, Chloe and Dan, are both self-employed and throughout this incredibly tough time, have both put their work on hold to be by his side. Chloe, who owns her own salon, cancelled all her appointments during the festive season – typically her busiest time of year, and the period where her earnings would usually keep things going while Dad Dan's roofing work becomes unpredictable over Winter.
Their focus remains on supporting Louie throughout his treatment - Any contribution could make a real difference and will allow Chloe and Dan to be where they need to be without the additional worry of financial stress.
That’s why the Clark Estates team will be lacing up our running shoes and taking part in the City of Lincoln 10km challenge on Sunday 12th April.
We’re aiming to raise vital funds to support Louie and his family as they face the road ahead. If you’re able to sponsor our run, your generosity will mean the world to Louie and his loved ones, helping ease some of the financial worries so they can focus on what matters most... Family.
Every donation, big or small, will be deeply appreciated.
