On Wednesday June 18th, Logan Reed and Abby Nelson welcomed baby boy Oliver Russel Reed into this world. Oliver is 15 weeks early, weighing only 13 oz and 10 inches long. Abby was diagnosed with something rare yet serious called HELLP syndrome. She was then rushed to Omaha where Oliver was born. This was all on June 18th. On June 20th Oliver was transferred to children’s hospital in Omaha due to a small hole in his stomach. Oliver is so fragile they have yet to be able to hold him.

As you can imagine Oliver will have a long road of recovery ahead of him. He is currently on a ventilator, undergoing blood transfusions, and getting his nutrition by a feeding tube. Logan, Abby, and Oliver are all doing as good as they can be. This is incredibly hard for them.

Unfortunately they are stuck in Nebraska while Oliver gets stronger. With that being said Logan still has to work to pay the bills and tend to their dogs at home. Logan is going to be traveling back and forth every weekend and when he can, as you know that alone is going to be extremely expensive.
