Help Kehlani Access Urgent Care for Epilepsy & Cerebral Palsy
Hi everyone,
My name is Rachael, and I’m fundraising for a little girl in Jamaica who urgently needs access to medical care and early intervention therapy.
When I was younger, we had a housekeeper named Rose who became like family to us. She helped raise me and my siblings, and she loved us as her own. She eventually developed an aggressive form of cancer and passed away — a loss that deeply affected my family.
At my father’s funeral earlier this year, Rose’s daughter came to pay her respects because of how much my dad meant to their family. After so many years apart, reconnecting with her was emotional — and she shared something heartbreaking:
Her 3-year-old daughter, Kehlani, was born with neonatal seizures and has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
Kehlani suffers from:
• Seizures multiple times a week
• Neurological complications
• Developmental delays
• Frequent hospitalizations
In Jamaica, the public health system is overwhelmed, and children like her often wait months — sometimes years — for therapy, neurological assessments, and proper treatment. These delays put her development and quality of life at serious risk.
Kehlani urgently needs:
• Pediatric neurology evaluations
• Physical & occupational therapy
• EEG testing
• Medication
• Assistive equipment
• Support for emergency hospital visits
Her mother is doing everything she can, but she simply cannot afford these ongoing medical costs.
This is where we can help.
I’m creating this GoFundMe to give Kehlani a fighting chance — a chance to walk, learn, communicate, and thrive with the support she needs at this critical stage of her life.
Your donation will directly help her access:
✔️ Private therapy (to bypass long public wait-times)
✔️ Medication for seizure control
✔️ Neurological specialists
✔️ Emergency care
✔️ Medical and developmental equipment
November is Epilepsy Awareness Month, which makes this the right time to share her story and ask for support.
Thank you for opening your heart, and thank you for helping Kehlani get the urgent care she deserves.
Every share, donation, and prayer counts.
— Rachael
