Help Us Support Jesus Villa: A Father, Brother, Son in need

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

My name is Jashir, and I'm reaching out to you on behalf of my beloved brother, Jesus Villa. Just a few weeks ago, Jesus went to the hospital for what seemed like a simple case of stomach pain. However, he was quickly diagnosed with heart failure, and his condition deteriorated rapidly. His kidneys and liver were shutting down, and he was moved between three different hospitals before finally being accepted for treatment.

After a challenging journey, Jesus was approved for insurance that would cover the critical heart transplant he desperately needed. He underwent ECMO treatment and dialysis, which initially showed promise, but complications arose after surgery. When he woke up in his room, the nurses unfortunately didn’t recognize that he had pulled out a tube, leading to severe bleeding. He coded for 16 minutes, and while he was stabilized for a time, he suffered significant setbacks, including pneumonia and brain strokes, which left him paralyzed on his left side and with limited responsiveness.

Jesus is now living with an artificial heart but remains in a fragile state. Doctors are waiting for him to improve so he can make it onto the heart transplant list. To make matters worse, our father was denied entry into the U.S. to see him during this critical time, leaving him with only me for financial support.

Throughout his life, Jesus has been a pillar of strength for his family. He took on the responsibility of being both a father and a mother to his siblings after our mother passed away when we were young. He worked two jobs tirelessly to provide for me and our siblings, ensuring we had everything we needed, including a safe home to grow up in. He never asked for anything in return and has always put his family's needs first.

Now, it is my turn to look out for him and ensure he receives the care he deserves. We are raising funds to cover his medical expenses, including ongoing treatment, rehabilitation, and support for his two daughters, who are 11 and 18 years old.
