Hello everyone. We are Katie Schrecengost and Amanda Mullen and we are organizing this fundraiser to assist my mom, Jen Grubbs, with her surgical medical bills and living expenses while she recovers from surgery. My mom needs to have two hip surgeries, each about 6 weeks apart. While she has insurance, it does not cover a large part of the cost for the surgeon. We would like to assist her with the cost of the surgeon and any post op expenses not covered by insurance; as well as living expenses during her recovery time, as the majority of it will be unpaid leave. The recovery time for this is a total of 12 weeks (3 months). Her first surgery will be in late October and the second will be in early December. Please consider helping us reach our goal!
