Help us support Dominik on the road to recovery

Dominik is a fun-loving, almost 2-year-old that never stops smiling and is an inspiration to everyone around him. Unfortunately, Domi needs your help.

In late January, Domi had what was thought to be a cold. In just a few days, the cold symptoms turned much worse and his parents, Nat and Tony rushed him to the hospital.

Domi was diagnosed with Streptococcus, with the infection quickly moving to the brain causing meningitis. He was placed into an induced coma. Unfortunately, symptoms of the infection including seizures and strokes caused extensive damage to Domi's brain.

Doctors told Nat and Tony that Domi wouldn't breathe on his own once taken off the ventilator but he is a little fighter and continues to fight for his life. The battle ahead is long and, at this stage, we are not sure what the extent of the brain damage will be.

Dominik, Nat and Tony (with regular visits from big brothers Tobias & Lukas) are looking at an extended stay in hospital, potentially months.
