Dear Family, Friends, and Sorority Sisters,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for your support as we navigate a challenging time in our lives. Our beloved Dr. Dayatrice Mcknight has bravely been fighting cancer, and we have some hopeful news: she is progressing and is expected to come home in a few days!

However, this journey is far from over. The doctors have recommended radiation therapy for the lymph node in her back, and while she is responding to treatment here and there, she will not be able to work during her recovery. This means that she will require care at home, which is a significant financial burden for our family and also her two kids, Demi and Dayson, who live at home with her.
