Help Us Support Crystal Wing and Family

Crystal is 36 years old and is married to Daniel Wing. They have a beautiful daughter, Rose, who is 2 years old. Crystal was diagnosed on her 35th birthday in 2018 with stage IV colon cancer. She had surgery to remove the tumor from her colon and the pathology report confirmed that it was cancer. She then had two port placements so she could begin chemotherapy. Later, her liver biopsy came back as cancer. Another surgery was done to try to remove it. This resulted in two liver abscesses needing drains to be placed so she had to be on home IV antibiotics for a month. At that point, she transferred her care to Duke where she remained on chemotherapy.  The liver cancer continued to grow, so radioactive seeds were placed in her liver. The scan came back as the blood flow  was diminished to the tumors. She also had nodules in her lungs that they were continuing to watch.

The latest CT scan done in January showed that the cancer had spread to the lungs and the lymph nodes in the abdomen and the cancer had grown in the liver. A new chemotherapy had been started. Since this, Crystal developed pneumonia and had to stop the chemotherapy due to her health being compromised. Her body just could not handle the chemo anymore. 

Crystal has prayed every day for God‘s healing. She has peace with what God's plans are for her but we know this is a difficult time for the entire family. Daniel, her husband, is currently not working to care for her and Rose. Any donations would greatly be appreciated.
